Giving is not losing.
Giving is multiplying.
Giving is planting seeds for futures we may never personally see, but which will bear fruit for generations after us.

Giving can take many forms:
• Sharing knowledge with a young woman finding her voice
• Offering mentorship to someone navigating their first leadership role
• Creating opportunities for others to step into their potential
• Speaking out for justice, even when our voices shake
• Or simply giving compassion in a world that desperately needs more of it

The WLF salutes all our remarkable women in science at TUT .

Hey TUT Fam!

On International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Faculty of Science proudly celebrates the remarkable women scientists we have featured — leaders, researchers, lecturers, innovators and students who are advancing knowledge, transforming communities, and inspiring the next generation.
From laboratories to lecture halls, from fieldwork to cutting-edge research, these women embody excellence, resilience, and purpose. They are not only contributing to science — they are redefining it.
Today, we honour their achievements, amplify their voices, and reaffirm our commitment to creating an enabling environment where women in science can thrive.

The Faculty of Science celebrates its women scientists — today and every day.

Hey TUT Fam 💜

We stand together with South Africans as our nation turns purple , which is a cry for justice and a symbol of unity and strength. The Tshwane University of Technology joins this national call to say : enough is enough. We stand firmly against gender-based violence and femicide in all its forms.

We stand in solidarity with all survivors and victims. At TUT, we believe that safety, dignity and equality are non-negotiable. Together we raise our voices for a South Africa free from violence and fear but rather a country where every person can live in peace. 💜
