🩵 Child Protection Week 2026 🩵
Child Protection Week serves as an important reminder that every child has the right to be safe, protected, valued, and heard. It is a time to raise awareness about the role we all play in creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow and thrive.
This week, we were privileged to welcome the National Centre for Child Protection, who spoke to our learners about body safety, personal boundaries, and the importance of speaking up when something does not feel right. They also shared a beautiful message about embracing our differences and recognising that God created each of us uniquely and with purpose.
We were also inspired by Danie from the National Centre for Child Protection, who demonstrated incredible strength by pulling our school bus with ropes. The highlight of the event was seeing our learners in wheelchairs join him in the challenge. Together, they shared an important message: that life can sometimes bring heavy burdens, but we do not have to carry them alone. When we support one another, work together, and ask for help when needed, even the heaviest challenges become easier to bear.
As we observe Child Protection Week, let us continue to build a community where children feel safe, supported, accepted, and empowered to reach their full potential.
