Jakaranda Kinderhuis in Pretoria, hou sedert 2010 in Desember ’n Liggiefees wat strek vanaf 1Desember tot 31 Desember. Die personeel, kinders en donateurs versier 21 huise en die terrein by die Kinderhuis met miljoene kersliggies, en maak dan die terrein oop vir die publiek om dit te kom besigtig oor die feestyd. Daar word ook ’n verskeidenheid van vermaaklikheid aangebied soos sangers, laser vertonings en verskeie ander vermaaklikheid gebeure gedurende die maand. Die “Liggie Roete” strek oor ongeveer 800 meter en ons bied n vriendelike omgewing met veilige parkering wat deurentyd beman is deur sekuriteitswagte. Ons vra R30 toegang fooi en lok jaarliks duisende besoekers na die terrein. From the 1st to the 31st of December the Jakaranda Children’s Home in Pretoria hosts their annual Christmas Light Festival since 2010. Our personnel, children and sponsors decorate the 21 houses as well as the rest of the premises with millions of Christmas lights. The decorated children’s home is then opened to the public during the festive season. During the festival a big selection of entertainment is provided such as singers, bands, laser shows and various other types of entertainment during the month. The “Light Route” stretches over about 800 meters, and we offer safe parking and security. There is a small entrance fee of R30 at the gate end we have thousands of visitors each year.
