Bumble Bee Pre Primary School

Bumble Bee Pre Primary School Pre-Primary School and Creche
Babies 3 months - Grade R It was originally situated where Barclay Square now stands.

Bumble Bee Pre-Primary School (initially known as Bumble Bee Playschool) has been inexistence for over 60 years. Barclay Square was built in 1970, and Bumble Bee Playschool moved to Muckleneuk, one of the oldest residential areas in Pretoria, just below the UNISA main campus. Since 1982 the School has been owned by the De Freitas family. Our playgrounds are big and shady and adjacent to us, you will find one of the oldest Jacaranda trees in Pretoria. It is our aim to prepare our young ones for school and life. A good foundation, concerning small and gross muscle development, while also catering for a variety of movement activities and a thorough knowledge of music. Social and creative development as well as language and numeracy are well addressed with daily activities.

Career Day Fun! 🐝👩‍🚒👨‍⚕️

Different Occupations was our theme of the week, and some of our classes embraced it with a fun Career Day! 👩‍🚀👨‍🍳👮‍♀️👨‍🚒

Our Cheetah and Rhino classes had an absolute blast dressing up as what they would like to be when they grow up. There was lots of laughter, excitement, and plenty of proud little faces showing off their future careers! 😂😄✨

Who knows… we might just have some future doctors, teachers, firefighters, pilots and more among us! 🌟💼👩‍⚕️👨‍🚒

Such a great beginning to the 3rd Term!
Ending off farm theme with a visit from The Farm Corner. Our entrance and driveway were transformed into a bustling farmyard, and the joy on our little bees’ 🐝 faces was absolutely priceless!
Our little bees used gentle hands to feel soft sheep 🐑 wool, feed eager goats 🐐 and the llama, and listen to the clucks 🦆 and moos 🐄 up close. The pony and donkey rides 🐎 were the highlight of the morning!
A heartfelt thank you to for bringing this memorable outdoor learning experience to our doorstep. You gave our little bees more than a visit with animals—you helped create lasting memories and a deeper sense of gratitude.
