There are moments that do more than inspire learners...
We are sincerely grateful to A Seat at the Table ZA and their partnership Standard Bank Corporate and Investment Banking for inviting our to be part of CONNECT Youth in Dialogue 2026.
For our learners, this was more than attending an event. It was an opportunity to sit in a room of leadership, ideas and lived experience β to listen, to reflect, to ask questions, and to see that their own voices, dreams and potential also belong in spaces of influence.
What made the experience even more meaningful was the spirit of Ubuntu that ran through the day. As one of Ribane-Lakaβs core values, it resonated deeply with us.
We also appreciate that this invitation forms part of a growing relationship between Ribane-Laka and A Seat at the Table β one that continues to affirm, celebrate and invest in our learners.
A special word of appreciation to Dr Xolelwa Zulu-Magwenyane (PhD), MSc.(Technology and Innovation Management), Head of Education at A Seat at the Table, and to Vuyelwa Diniso, CEO of A Seat at the Table, for the intentional leadership behind platforms that open doors for young people.
And to Tryphosa Ramano, Founder of A Seat at the Table β thank you for the vision behind a platform that is not only creating seats at the table, but reminding our learners that they already belong there.

[Reality: Youth of 1976] Today marks 50 years since the Soweto Uprising when brave students protested the imposition of Afrikaans as a medium of education. We remember the brave young souls of June 16. Their sacrifice lives on in every generation πΏπ¦ .
It is through education that we equip our youth with knowledge, skills, and confidence to overcome challenges, participate meaningfully in the economy, and shape a better future for themselves and their communities.
As we reflect during , we are reminded that every learner supported today is a future leader, innovator, and change-maker tomorrow.
