On 23 September 2026, learners from a number of Curro schools (including ours!) will come together at Curro Wilgeheuwel for Ke Nako! Festival of Voices – a spectacular Curro schools production celebrating South Africa's rich cultural heritage through music.

Inspired by the theme ‘Intsha inamandla – strength in our youth,’ this unforgettable evening showcases the creativity and potential of our young people. Through a carefully curated programme of traditional and contemporary South African music, learners will share stories of identity, resilience, hope and ubuntu.

Ke Nako! is an invitation to celebrate what brings us together.

Our talented U11 and U13 girls' soccer teams proudly represented Curro The Blyde today in their fixtures against Robert Hicks Primary School.⚽💙

Our U11 girls put in a determined performance, earning a 0–0 draw, while our U13 girls showed incredible resilience in an exciting 3–3 draw.

We are so proud of the teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship our girls displayed on the field. You represented the Curro spirit with pride!

🚴‍♀️ Learning, balancing, and growing one pedal at a time.

Our Grade R learners are building confidence and coordination through cycling training as part of their Physical Education programme.

More than just learning to ride, these young cyclists are developing balance, motor skills, perseverance, and a love for staying active, all while having plenty of fun.
