A busy and exciting Term 3 in the Cornerstone College Library!

Spring brought a wonderful sense of newness to our library this term, including the arrival of 99 new books on long-term loan from Tshwane Libraries. From High School reads and Afrikaans titles to beautiful books for our younger learners, the new additions quickly became some of the most popular spots in the library.

But for us, the library is about so much more than books on shelves. Our goal is to foster a lifelong love of reading – whether a learner is discovering a new title, returning to an old favourite or simply finding something that makes them want to keep turning the pages.

This term also saw 95 books catalogued, 45 books mended and 65 older books returned to Tshwane Libraries, creating much-needed space for our growing collection.

A special thank you to Tshwane Libraries, our donors, teachers, Library Monitors and the Cornerstone executive team for continuing to support our library and our learners.

Here’s to many more books, discoveries and stories in Term 4!
A big thank you to our Library Monitors for doing duty in the library despite their own busy school schedules.

I am very grateful to the executive for supporting the library in so many ways. Zani Swart

There’s something truly special about the love between grandparents and their grandchildren. 💛

Today at Cornerstone College, we celebrated the grandparents who bring so much love, wisdom, laughter and warmth into our children’s lives.

“Grandparents make the world a little softer, a little kinder, and a whole lot warmer.”

Thank you to every grandparent who joined us and made the day so incredibly special. These are the moments and memories our children will carry with them for years to come.

A beautiful act of kindness from our Cornerstone College Primary School. 💙
Our learners and families came together to collect much-needed items for Give Them Hope Care Centre, showing that even small acts of giving can make a meaningful difference.
Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped us share a little love beyond our school gates.

Today’s High School STEAM Expo at Cornerstone College was all about creativity, curiosity and bringing learning to life!

From robotics and technology to science, art, design and geography, our learners had the opportunity to research, create, problem-solve and proudly showcase their work.

We loved seeing the incredible detail, imagination and effort that went into every project. Well done to all our learners for an inspiring day of innovation and discovery!

Our Grade R's and Grade 1's swapped the classroom for a day of adventure!

From exploring and discovering to learning through new experiences, the outing was filled with excitement, laughter and special moments shared with friends.

At Cornerstone College, we believe learning happens everywhere — and sometimes the best lessons happen beyond the classroom.
