DITSONG MUSEUMS OF SOUTH AFRICA DITSONG: MUSEUMS OF SOUTH AFRICA is an amalgamation of eight museums, seven in Tshwane and one in Johannesburg

These museums have diverse collections covering the fields of fauna and flora, palaeontology, military history, cultural history, geology, anthropology and archaeology. The target audience for these museums are children, youth, adults, students, tourists (foreign and local), researchers and the public in general.

🕊️ In Loving Memory: Remembering Ms. Sylvia Thembane Thabedi 🕯️🏛️

Join us as we gather to pay our final respects and celebrate the life and legacy of our dear colleague, Ms. Sylvia Thembane Thabedi, who faithfully served DITSONG: Museums of South Africa (DMSA) for 19 years.

Ms. Thabedi began her journey with DMSA as an Administrative Clerk at the DITSONG: National Museum of Cultural History on 1 March 2007, later bringing her dedication and excellence to the Finance Department as a Creditors Clerk starting 1 March 2021. Her warmth, professionalism, and unwavering commitment will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working with her.
