Congratulations to siblings, Kwande and Sakhiwe (Junior School) on their outstanding achievements at the KwaZulu-Natal Inter-Provincial Figure Skating Championships.

Kwande brought home a Silver Medal in the Gold Girls Under 14 category. This achievement is particularly special as she only passed the skills test qualifying her for this category in August 2026.

Sakhiwe earned a Bronze Medal in the Juvenile Girls category, marking an exciting milestone as this was her first time qualifying to compete at the Inter-Provincial Championships.

We are incredibly proud of both girls for their dedication, courage and determination on the ice.

During the August holiday, our Senior School Sporting codes embarked on a life changing sports tour to Malaysia. The girls were introduced to Malaysia’s rich culture in the city of Malacca, where they learned about Malaysia’s deep history. They later moved to the city of Kuala Lumpur, where they were overwhelmed with incredible infrastructure such as the Petronas Towers and the Maybank building. The girls ended their tour in Penang which was a mix of city life and a surreal beach experience. They got the chance to go swimming by the beach and soak up the sun during off times. The girls played Volleyball, Basketball, Hockey and Netball against various Malaysian teams for the course of their tour. They learned new methods, different ways to approach their sport and how to play against advanced opponents. We are very proud of our girls for taking this opportunity to learn more about the world around them as well as educating themselves on their respective sporting codes!

Today the Church celebrates Michaelmas.

Remembering St Michael and All Angels, we give thanks for God's protection and for those who serve as God's messengers.

St Michael is associated with courage in the face of what threatens life and goodness.
The feast invites us to notice the often-unseen ways in which we are protected, accompanied and strengthened.

May God watch over us and those we love.
May we have courage when the way is difficult,
and may we trust that we are never beyond God’s care.

“For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.”
Psalm 91:11

On 15 September, our Grade 7 students joined their peers from Waterkloof House Preparatory School (WHPS) for an evening of mathematical fun at the annual Maths Relay.

Mixed teams worked together to solve a series of relay-style challenges that tested their problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Thank you to WHPS for hosting a memorable evening.
