It started with a thought... birthed out of the need to unite urban music party revelers in South Africa five years after the country's first democratic elections and obilishment of an opressive racist regime 1999 Multi-Racial Productions was established, at the time focused at providing events mainly without the prejudice segregation brought on by the past. Out of it ethos (Uniting Through The Rh

ythm) a record label was eventually established in 2003 with a multitude of releases by giving platforms to then up n coming various and now influential producers in the South African House music scene, in keeping with its ethos and principles of building platforms for up n coming budding producers the label keeps on with taking its vision globally, Multi-Racial established it's Urban Music Institute in order to facilitate in providing knowledge through our Tutor-Mentor programs in the Urban Music Industry persevering in "UNITIN THRU THE RHYTHM" into the future.

What do you reckon?
Applies to educational facilities in SA as much as it does internationally.

From our perspective, the answer is simple.
The Heads of Music Dept who teach music production have possibly spent millions on legacy platforms like Pro Toos to realise that FL STUDIO is no longer the Fruity Loops of thirty years ago but an incredibly powerful and versatile DAW that is also the most popular DAW in the world and most certainly on the African continent.

Think Amapiano, think FL STUDIO.
It now means these academic facilities have to concede their massive investments may need to become secondary as they focus on the people's DAW at a fraction of the cost.
Correct, educational facilities can invest in FL STUDIO with a much more affordable budget, so it can be introduced by virtually all facilities.

Put FL Studio in schools! I would add that some kids would thrive at learning in a school setting, whereas myself, and a ton of others, wouldn’t. They like to learn hands-on or learn online with all the content that all the great creators make in this community. But we need to give those kids a choice in school words the country. Just my 2 cents.
