What a blast we had Grand Parents' Day at Palm Tempeltom! π It was so wonderful to see all the smiling faces of our elders and to hear their stories and advice. They have played such an important role in our lives, teaching us values, traditions, and skills that we cherish and pass on to our children.
We had fun playing games and learning from their wisdom and experience. They also enjoyed the delicious cake and cookies we prepared for them. Here are some pictures of the memorable moments we shared. Thank you, grandparents, for being awesome! π

We all know that while kids run around and play, they explore and learn about themselves and their environment. Intentional learning sometimes does not come easy. This is not because the child is not motivated or the subject is uninteresting, but because coordination in the brain does not happen as it should. At Palm Tempelton we engage our students with specific movements that activates brain activity. Here is how.
Cross-crawl exercises are movements that involve crossing the midline of the body, which is an imaginary line that divides the body into left and right halves. These exercises are designed to activate both sides of the brain and improve coordination, balance, and motor skills using a set number or repetitions. Cross-crawl exercises can be as simple as marching or as complex as dancing, but they all involve movements that require the left and right sides of the body to work together while completing opposing actions.
Cross-crawl exercises offer a wide range of benefits for children of all ages. Some of the most important benefits include improved coordination, increased brain activity, and improved cognitive function. These exercises activate both sides of the brain and often challenge it to coordinate new motor plans. This can help children learn and remember new information. Additionally, cross-crawl exercises can help to improve coordination between the left and right sides of the body, which can lead to better balance and overall coordination.

At school or at home we get very busy most to the time. So we need relax from time to time too. Lazy eight is a technique that helps you relax and improve your concentration. It involves tracing an infinity symbol with your eyes, following a smooth and rhythmic movement.
This can calm your nervous system and activate both sides of your brain. You can practice lazy eight anytime you feel stressed, anxious, or distracted. Try it for yourself and see the difference!
Happy lefthanders day to all our fellow lefties out there! π
Did you know that only about 10% of the world's population is left-handed? That makes you pretty special, don't you think? π
Being left-handed has its challenges, like dealing with scissors, spiral notebooks, and smudged ink. But it also has its advantages, like being more creative, adaptable, and unique. π―
So let's celebrate our left-handedness today and every day. We rock! π
Happy everyone! π Today we celebrate the legacy of a great leader who fought for justice and equality. Let's honor his memory by doing our part to make the world a better place. What are you doing to serve your community today? A Palm Tempelton our students went out to keep the neighborhood clean.

Youth is not a time of life, but a state of mind. It is the courage to dream, the passion to act, and the wisdom to learn. Youth is the spirit of innovation, the power of change, and the hope of the future.
Youth Day is a celebration of this spirit, this power, and this hope. Let us honor it by living up to our potential and making a positive difference in the world.
Today is World Environment Day, a global event to celebrate and encourage action on the climate crisis. As Palm Tempelton Independent School, we are proud to join millions of people across the world in raising awareness and taking steps to protect and restore our planet.
We believe that education is a powerful tool to inspire positive change and foster a culture of sustainability.
That's why we are committed in past years to reducing our environmental impact, promoting green practices, and supporting environmental initiatives in our community. Join us in celebrating World Environment Day and making a difference for our future!
Listening to children is an important skill for professionals who work with them. It shows respect, empathy and interest in their perspectives and experiences.
Listening to children can also help them develop their communication and social skills, as well as their self-esteem and confidence. To all caregivers/carers and parents. here is a poem Tittled "Take a moment" to inspire to listen more to our children.
Take a moment to listen today
To what your children are trying to say,
Listen to them, whatever you do
Or they won't be there to listen to you.
Listen to their problems, listen to their needs
Praise their smallest triumphs, praise their littlest deeds;
Tolerate their chatter, amplify their laughter,
Find out what's the matter, find out what they're after.
If we tell our children all the bad in them we see,
They'll grow up exactly how we hoped they'd never be;
But if we tell our children we're so proud to wear their name,
They'll grow up believing that they're winners in the game.
So tell them that you love them every single night;
And though you scold them make sure you hold them and tell them they're all right,
"Good night, happy dreams, Tomorrow's looking bright."
Take a moment to listen today
To what your children are trying to say
Listen to them whatever you do,
And They'll be there to listen to you.
