Week 10🗓️

Here’s a look at what’s happening at our school this week.

🌱👩‍🍳 FROM OUR GARDEN TO OUR TABLE!🥬❤️

What started as tiny seedlings has grown into something truly special! Our LSEN learners have been learning that gardening is about so much more than growing vegetables — it’s about growing independence, confidence and life skills

After planting and caring for their own spinach, our learners had the opportunity to harvest, prepare and cook the vegetables themselves🥬

With lots of enthusiasm and teamwork, they washed and prepared their fresh harvest, worked together in the kitchen and proudly cooked a meal using the vegetables they had grown with their own hands. 👩‍🍳✨

And the best part? They didn’t just cook for themselves.. they shared their meal with one another! ❤️

This beautiful experience taught our learners about:
🌱 Responsibility. Caring for something from seed to harvest
👩‍🍳 Practical life skills. Preparing and cooking food
🤝 Teamwork & sharing. Working together and enjoying the fruits of their labour
💚 Pride & independence. Seeing that their own efforts can create something meaningful

From planting the seed… to harvesting… to preparing… to cooking… and finally sharing around the table.

These are the moments where learning comes to life! 🌱❤️

Small hands. Big achievements. Growing together!🌿✨
