Sometimes our little ones get big feelings, those moments where everything feels a bit too loud, too new, too much. And honestly… we all know that feeling as parents too.

But here’s the beautiful thing we see at school every day:
Even when they feel scared or overwhelmed, their courage shows up anyway.
In the tiny steps.
In the shaky tries.
In the moments they choose to keep going.

They are braver than they think, and so are we.

What’s one small brave moment you noticed this week?

Our hearts are still so full after this weekend’s Grade R ceremony.
Watching our little graduates shine on stage, confident, joyful, and oh-so-proud of themselves, was the most beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.

To every child who took part: we are incredibly proud of you.
To every family who showed up with cheering voices, happy tears, and endless support: thank you for being part of our Meyerspark family.

These are the moments that make childhood magical.
And we’re honoured to walk this journey with you.

We’re growing, in every way!

Our school garden is full of goodness, from fresh spinach to crunchy carrots, all used to prepare healthy, homemade meals for our little learners.

Because growing our own food means we know exactly what goes into every bite, love, care, and lots of sunshine.

Counting before six is all about play, not pressure!

At this age, little minds learn best through hands-on moments, not worksheets!

Here are a few simple ways to boost early number sense every day:

-Count socks together while folding laundry
-Ask “how many apples are in the bowl?”
-Count steps, cars, or birds on your way to school
-Play board games, they sneak in counting without them even noticing!

These tiny, playful moments build strong mathematical thinking and confidence, too
