'Gender-based violence responses must include energy access as a structural intervention, not an add-on.' Unisa - The University of South Africa's Dr Azwihangwisi Mphidi and Debra Pheiffer reviewed 10 research papers on responses to gender-based violence. Their findings on The Conversation Africa offer important lessons from South Africa on how survivors are rebuilding their lives.

Gender-based violence responses must include energy access as a structural intervention, not an add-on.
