Every single “problem” in your life is giving you some type of information. When things are going good, no new information is being processed, but good feelings are being experienced. But when things get sticky, is when the information is pouring in. Organize that info. Take a step back to get a better view. Then get back at it. Much respect. Keep going.

The number on the scale is irrelevant when you FEEL strong, healthy and like the way you look. 👏🏻 It’s also my least favorite way to track progress.

In response to my previous posts, I’d thought I’d address some FAQ’s I got regarding them:

• I’m 5’7” and currently 155 pounds (20 lbs heavier than my leanest).

• My maintenance calories are about 2700-3000.

• I don’t do bulks or cuts, but I will tighten up my diet on occasion if it’s been too loose and I’m not feeling very good. -I’m very normal and will go through phases where my diet isn’t very structured and is borderline poor. 😂 Thats life! -When I tighten things up, I basically will just get back to focusing on getting my protein in and eating more fruits and vegetables.

• I use macro counting as a tool, but really only focus on my protein and calories. I only ever counted all three macros when I was in my show prep.

• I don’t program cardio into my workouts. I only do a structured weightlifting workout (I only did programmed cardio during my show prep).
- My type of cardio is doing dance classes I enjoy, going on walks, longboarding with Greg, going on bike rides or playing with my kids at the park. I am a firm believer in being “active” in ways you enjoy.

While this is what’s worked for me, and is the sustainable balance I’ve found, you need to find what works for YOU and what is going to be sustainable for YOU long term. ❤️
