We are noticing that many students find the jump from IG to AS quite challenging. Considering the importance of one's AS level studies — and the results thereof — it is critical that students should be able to master the challenges. Here are some guidelines on how to study for AS level maths. Although they are focussed on the Imago Education maths course, they can easily be adapted for other programmes. They will also be useful for IGCSE and for other, similar subjects (e.g. physics).
