Senior Learners’ Educational Visit

On 16 September, our senior learners visited Therons Foam Craft in Gezina. The company has been operating for 46 years and is well known for upholstery items that are made, repaired, or refurbished. They can be contacted on 012 883 8890.

The purpose of the visit was to focus on soft furnishings and upholstery, which the learners have been learning about in their sewing classes this term. The visit also helped learners realise that the skills they learn at school can be used in real-life jobs and careers.

The learners had the opportunity to make their own cushion, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The outing was a great success, and we would love to visit the company again in the future to gain further knowledge and practical experience.

The learners were accompanied by Mrs E. Joubert and two classroom assistants, Mrs. Emmah Mahlakwane and Mrs Thandi Nkhwamuladzi.

Your thoughtful contribution promotes dignity, confidence, and healthy personal care among our young men. We truly appreciate your kindness, generosity and continued support of our learners.
