Feature Friday 😄❄️

Winter school holidays are in full swing and let’s just say… our kids are booked, busy, and keeping everyone on their toes 😎

From exciting outings and wonderful holiday experiences, to nature excursions, meals out at restaurants, and even incredible performances like Disney on Ice — it’s been a holiday to remember 📸

Add to that our houseparents pulling out their most creative ideas to keep things fun, and you’ve got a whole lot of special moments packed into one school holiday.

We’ve got way too many moments (and photos) to fit into one post, but here are a few highlights from the holidays so far.

We are so incredibly blessed — truly. There isn’t enough space here to thank every single person and business who made these experiences possible, and honestly, we don’t have the words to fully express how grateful we are.

To everyone who sponsored, supported, showed up, and made magic happen for our kids — and to the amazing volunteers who stepped in to help — thank you. It means more than you know ❤️

On three different days, staff somehow showed up in matching vibes — green on one day, pink on another, and blue on another — with absolutely no planning involved 🤍

At Jakaranda & Louis Botha Kinderhuise, even our outfits sometimes agree on the vibe — proof that we’re more in sync than we realise 🌱

Different days, different colours, same “wait… again?” moment 💫

Clearly there’s a group chat somewhere that our outfits are part of 😄

What began as one quiet act of kindness turned into a growing stream of encouragement, support, and shared positivity among our team 🌱

To the anonymous writers — thank you. You may not have signed your names, but your words carried warmth and heart throughout our space 💫
