Humanities Writing Centre - University of Pretoria The Writing Centre of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Pretoria (TUKS)
Office: HSB 17-

The Faculty of Humanities' Writing Centre (HWC) is open to all undergraduate students studying anything in Humanities. Consultations can be conducted in either English or Afrikaans, according to the preference of the student. Our aim is to help students to improve their academic writing skills through one-on-one sessions with our trained consultants. It is advisable to attend several sessions as students can improve continuously. The HWC encourages student-focused learning so that students can learn to help themselves. Bookings are advised and can be made online at pretoria.mywconline.com. Walk-in appointments are accepted, provided there is no session booked at that time. The HWC is a service of the Faculty and there is no charge for the sessions. We also host various workshops for students and tutors of other departments, focusing on answering questions in exams, helping students edit assignments, etc. Office: 17-31 (Human Sciences Building)
