At Kiddies Aqua, excellence starts with the quality of our instructors. We believe that a great swimming journey begins with a knowledgeable, passionate and highly trained teacher in the water. 💙

Today we are extremely proud to congratulate Jenevé (Moreleta Branch), Micaela (Doornpoort Branch) and Charné (Rietfontein Branch) for successfully completing our intensive Kiddies Aqua In-House Learn-to-Swim Teacher Training Programme - passing their final assessments with flying colours. 👏

Becoming a Kiddies Aqua instructor is not simply about receiving a certificate. It is about dedication, commitment and many hours of practical experience. Their training included 150+ hours of hands-on practical training in the water under the guidance and mentorship of Head Coach Lizette Botha and our team of experienced senior instructors.

Throughout their journey, they gained valuable experience across our complete swimming development pathway, from toddlers and young children learning their very first swimming skills, to older children, adults, stroke development and working with children with special needs. 💦

Teaching swimming is much more than teaching a skill. It requires patience, understanding, compassion and the ability to build confidence and trust with every individual swimmer.

At Kiddies Aqua we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of instructor development, ensuring that every teacher who represents our brand is equipped with the knowledge, confidence and passion to change lives through swimming. These three wonderful ladies are now form part of our 60+ highly qualified and trained swimming instructors across all our sixteen branches.

Congratulations Jenevé, Micaela and Charné we are extremely proud of your hard work and commitment. Welcome to the next chapter of your teaching journey. 💙

👶🏻💦🏅 STAR BABY FLOATER MIANÉ BECOMES A WATER SMART SURVIVOR 🏅💦👶🏻

A huge congratulations to our little superstar, Miané Wessels (26 months old), who successfully completed the Kiddies Aqua Self-Rescue Water Safety Programme with our Head Coach and Baby Floating Specialist, Instructor Lizette. 🐬💦

After months of dedicated training, consistency, patience, and commitment, Miané completed her final water safety assessment this morning (fully clothed), simulating a real-life accidental fall into water.

This special milestone is not achieved overnight. It takes teamwork between instructor, child, and parent. A very special thank you to proud mom Lorenza, who supported Miané throughout her entire journey and invested the time and effort to equip her daughter with one of the most valuable life skills a child can learn — respect for water and the ability to react safely in an unexpected situation. 💙

For her bravery, determination, and amazing achievement, our little Water Smart Survivor was proudly rewarded with her very own personalised gold-mounted medal. 🏅✨

Well done, Miané — your Kiddies Aqua family is incredibly proud of you. Keep shining and let’s enjoy the next phase of your lifelong swimming journey. 🐬💦

Star Baby Floater, Hanjo David Klopper (13-months old), completed our Self-Rescue Water Safety Programme with Instructor Lizette.

After months of training, he was put through the test this morning, fully clothed. Parents Zanett and Conrad were in close observance. For his hard work, little HD got rewarded with a personalized gold mounted medal.

🥇💦 OLYMPIC & WORLD SUPERSTAR CASTER SEMENYA JOINS OUR ADULT SWIMMING PROGRAM 💦🥇

What an incredible honour and privilege for Kiddies Aqua Swimming Academy to welcome one of South Africa’s greatest sporting icons, Olympic and World Champion Caster Semenya, into our Adult Swimming Program. 🇿🇦⭐

Caster has inspired millions around the world through her dedication, discipline, resilience and extraordinary achievements on the international stage and we are extremely proud that she has chosen Kiddies Aqua as part of her next exciting journey.

Caster is currently preparing for Tropika Island of Treasure – Season 12, which will soon take place on the beautiful Réunion Island, and we are excited to support her as she sharpens her swimming skills and water confidence. 🌴💦

This journey with the Semenya family actually started long before today. Caster’s two beautiful daughters have already been part of our Kiddies Aqua family for the past two years, developing their own swimming skills and water safety confidence. Now mom has officially joined them in the pool. 💙

At Kiddies Aqua, we believe swimming truly is a lifelong journey, from babies taking their first steps toward becoming Water Smart Survivors, to children learning to swim, competitive swimmers chasing their dreams, and adults discovering or improving their confidence in the water.

A special thank you to her dedicated swimming instructor Liezl Mentz for guiding Caster through her program.

Tiny Trails Centre will officially open its doors on 1 July in Menlo Park, Pretoria, offering a loving, nurturing and specialised environment created exclusively for babies and toddlers between 3 and 24 months of age.
