We get to celebrate the change of seasons on the 23rd of Sepetember with the schools annual Spring Braai day so come one come all with your shorts and shades to cool off and enjoy.
and drinks will be available.

PRESIDENT ZUMA TO HOLD ANTI-DRUG ABUSE COMMUNITY IMBIZO IN EERSTERUST
President Jacob Zuma will on Friday, 21 August 2015, hold a community Presidential Imbizo which aims to strengthen the fight against drugs and substance abuse particularly amongst young people in Eersterust area in the east of Pretoria. The Presidential Imbizo will also promote youth development in the community and surroundings.
It follows an appeal by the community of Eersterust to the President to intervene in addressing challenges facing the community, in particular drug addiction and drug syndicates who operate in the in the community and cause a number of social ills to the detriment of young people and children.
“In receipt of the petition by the Eersterust community which listed a number of challenges that confront the community including drug and substance abuse, drug syndicates, high levels of crime and other social ills, I have decided to visit this community to personally hear their plight so that I can have a first-hand experience of the situation,” said President Zuma.
The Presidential Imbizo enables a direct engagement with the community to equip government with a first-hand understanding of the challenges that are faced by communities and to intervene meaningfully to improve their lives.
President Zuma will be accompanied by the Minister of Social Development, Ms Bathabile Dlamini, as well as other Ministers and Deputy Ministers, the Premier of Gauteng, MECs as well as councillors.
The Imbizo will take place as follows:

well we've been away for a while.. any updates of whats happening at our school???
Well done to the class of 2014 of Eersterust Secondary School.. You did the school proud once again with a percentage rate of 91%.. It decreased from last year but keeping it in the 90's is the way. "Wandel in wysheid" en kom ons hou die skool se naam hoog!! All the best for the class of 2015, and Well done to Prosperitus school as well.. Big up's to Eersterust Secondary!!!
