Tshwane South TVET College was pleased to be part of the U.S. Workforce Development Site Visit held today , in collaboration with Tshwane North TVET College.

The visit, led by Acting Deputy Principal: Registrar, Mr Pontso Mosoeu, commenced at Tshwane North TVET College and concluded at Tshwane South TVET College’s Pretoria West Campus, at the Gandhi Mandela Venue.

The engagement provided an opportunity to showcase the role of TVET colleges in workforce development, skills development and preparing students for the changing world of work.

REQUIREMENTS : An undergraduate qualification in Information Technology/ Computer Science / Information Systems/ Informatics / Computer Systems Engineering at NQF level 6 as recognized by SAQA No experience required (Never participated in any Internship Programme (both Public / Private sector). Knowledge: State Information Technology Agency (SITA) Processes. Infrastructure and Network Architecture Design. Electronic Communication Transaction Act. Electronic Document Management System. Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS). Skills: Communication (Witten and Verbal). Presentation. Computer Literacy. Analytical. Problem Solving. Report Writing. Planning and Organizing. DUTIES : Provide desktop support and computer systems. Prepare hardware and workstation support for users. Provide support in maintaining maximum access of Technology equipment. Support functioning of technology.
