Cameron’s Atchar Avocado Pasta Salad brought together homemade avocado pasta, creamy avocado aioli and tangy avocado atchar, topped with charred corn, crispy bacon and red pepper.

A little creamy, a little tangy, a little smoky - and a whole lot of avo! 🥑

We’re so proud to announce that Capital Hotel School has been named 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 in this year’s 𝗔𝗱𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝘃𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! 💚

And a special shoutout to our talented students 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂, who took 2nd place, and 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝘀, who placed 3rd!

What a day! 🌟

Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the Top 14 Hospitality learners from Hoërskool Grenswag to the CHS campus.

What a lovely, lively group of young people, full of energy, curiosity and enthusiasm for hospitality! ❤️

Chef Wesley wowed everyone with an exciting molecular gastronomy demonstration. The ice cream was delicious, and while the blood orange and ginger spheres looked impressive, we think it’s safe to say the texture divided the room! 😄

A huge thank you to Mrs Andoret and Mnr Doctor for the passion and dedication they put into keeping Hospitality Studies exciting and inspiring for the next generation.

We loved having you with us and hope to see some familiar faces back on campus in the future!

Winning once is a wonderful achievement. Winning again is a reminder of the consistency, commitment and passion that goes into everything we do.

For us, this recognition is about far more than a trophy. It represents our lecturers who pour their knowledge into every lesson, our team who works tirelessly behind the scenes, and most importantly, our students who bring ambition, creativity and heart to the hospitality industry.

We had the pleasure of spending the day at Wingate Park Country Club for a game of Lawn Bowls in support of the 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗸𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆, helping raise funds for three incredible non-profit organisations that make a meaningful difference in our community every day.

And what a day it was!

From the fantastic setup and wonderful atmosphere to the delicious dinner, great company and plenty of friendly competition, it was the perfect reminder of how special it is when people come together for a good cause.

A beautiful afternoon of connection, laughter and giving back - and one we certainly won’t forget.

A special thank you to 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗸𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝟭𝟬𝟬 for the warm hospitality and for bringing everyone together for such a wonderful day. We were honoured to be part of it!

And a big thank you to 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁 for our customised T-shirts – they definitely added a little extra team spirit to the day!
