In Theory you will learn to understand how the musical language work - from writing notes and all musical signs to identifying structures and styles in music and how to use them in writing your own music. In Aural Training we will sharpen your listening skills. You will learn to identify intervals in music as well as certain musical modes and beats. This will, in turn, help you to listen better to your playing and will also open up your mind in how you perceive sound differently. Before you know it, you will listen to your favorite pop or rock songs more intensely and with more gratification. In Music History, you will learn about different musical styles as well as the composers that created them. You will learn how music came to existence and how it has evolved throughout the course of society. In Sociology you will learn why these changes were brought forth and what societal circumstances contributed to what music is today. You will also learn how it impacts our musical world today as well as the industry that exists presently. This might sound like a lot of work (and it is) but it will be taught differently than you might be used to. At WRMStudio we will combine fun, intuitive ways to learn about music adding technology to the pot as well - all in the comfort of your own home.
