Good day All, for those preparing for the upcoming supp exam. Please see guidelines below, i'm back at work next week on the 9th so you can call then if you need to.

1. You should be able to develop a fund raising campaign for different reasons.
2. You should be able to explain public relations practice in international and multi-national organisations.
3. You should be able list, explain and APPLY the steps of planning a fundraising campaign.
4. You should familiarize yourself with ALL the steps of the research process.
5. Familiarise yourself with the different levels of government in South Africa.
6. You should be able to discuss the barriers that hamper the building of relationships between the government and its citizens.
7. You should be able formulate a budget for different reasons.
8. You should be familiar with all the terms associated with budgeting.

Dear All

A little advice as you prepare for tomorrow:

1. Provide a good theoretical base for all answers, you do not have to regurgitate the study guide as is (it is better to answer on your words).
2. Lecturers want to know that you understand the material so use examples to support your theory.
3. When given a scenario, make mention of the given company throughout your answer (really put yourself in the scenario and answer as though you were in it).
4. Read instructions carefully. When asked to discuss, discuss in order to get maximum marks.
