Stephenson Custom Blades Stephensons was started in August 2008. The result ? As a knife maker, this can only be deemed a privilege.

After discovering how difficult it was to find a decent hunting & skinning equipment, and wading through stacks of game & wildlife magazines, it was something I HAD to do! Being an avid woodsman with extensive hunting experience, I set out to craft quality, durable utility items ensuring that each piece also held strong aesthetic appeal. The Stephensons Knife pouches are designed with a leather “riempie” to allow a quick-release of your Knife, and allows your knife to be carried horizontally on your leather belt. During the Bloemfontein Knife show Stephensons Equipment were awarded the Best Drawn Knife certificate, given in recognition of new Knife Makers. A genuine respect for South African Wildlife is reflected in the craftsmanship of each and every knife that leaves my hands; handles created from exotic hardwood, animal bones, warthog tooth or kudu horn & genuine South African leather, merged to produce a truly African masterpiece. One special knife project for 2010 is a Collectors' range celebrating South Africa's indigenous trees

Member of the Gauteng North Shore Angling Union and actively involved for 22 years. Received SASAA Inland colours for Rock & Surf fishing

On the management team of Gauteng North for 15 years and awarded Gauteng North Federation Colors, as well as club captain of Centurion Rock & Surf Angling Club for 5 year.. CONSERVATION

Active member of the Oceanic Research Institute for Tag & Release Fishing. Bagged A Ragged Tooth shark of 184kg on Tag & Release Mapelane, Zululand. It was recaptured 514 days later again in East London. HUNTING

Member of the SA Hunters & Conservation Association, Baviaanspoort Branch, and awarded Dedicated Hunting status. Woodsman related activities include hunting, wildlife conservation, support of ethical hunting, reloading and rifle history. We live and work in the beautiful Magaliesberg mountain area in Pretoria North, South Africa

South African National Museum of Military History The South African National War Museum in Johannesburg was officially opened by Prime Minister Jan Smuts on 29 August 1947 to preserve the history of South Africa's involvement in the Second World War. In 1975, the museum was renamed the South African National Museum of Military History and its function changed to include all conflicts that South Africa has been involved in. In 1999 it was amalgamated with the Pretoria-based Transvaal Museum and National Cultural History Museum to form the NFI. In April 2010 Ditsong was officially renamed Ditsong Museums of South Africa and the SANMMH was renamed the Ditsong National Museum of Military History.
