🚓👮♀️🚒 On Friday our Grade 2 learners had an exciting dress-up day as part of our theme, Safety and Community Helpers! Learners came dressed as a variety of community helpers and enjoyed activities that helped them understand the important role these everyday heroes play in keeping us safe and helping our community thrive. It was wonderful to see so much creativity, enthusiasm, and learning taking place. Well done, Grade 2! ⭐️.
🌮✨ Grade R Theme: Mexico! ✨🌮
Our Grade R class has been exploring the vibrant and exciting country of Mexico this week! From learning about colourful traditions and delicious foods to discovering music, dance and famous landmarks, our little learners have been fully immersed in this rich culture.
We enjoyed creating bright Mexican art, listening to lively music, and even “travelling” to Mexico through stories and imaginative play.
Olé! 🇲🇽💃 We can’t wait to share more of our adventures!

Our u 10A football team played in the FAPPS league final on neutral ground at Laerskool Fleur this afternoon.
They walked away as proud league champions !

Door of Hope is an organisation situated in Johannesburg that over the past 26 years has helped 1940 babies. Their mission is to save babies that have been abandoned.
They love them, care for them and strive to find them forever homes. The babies that are not adopted continue to stay on in a loving and caring environment where they form part of the bigger family in the Children’s Village.
Some of our teachers, members of the parent body and friends of Woodhill College joined forces and made beautiful blankets from donated squares, jerseys and beanies as well as soft toys. Nappies and toiletries along with cleaning materials were all donated to this worthy organisation.

Our Group 3 learners have been exploring the rich, warm colours of autumn - reds, oranges, yellows and earthy browns through creative, hands-on activities. 🎨🌿
As they engaged with natural materials, they not only expressed their creativity but also deepened their curiosity about the world around them.
In true Woodhill College spirit, this learning experience reflects our values of curiosity, creativity and mindful engagement.
