This week, we celebrate the orange colour of the rainbow, representing the value of obedience. Just as a lion listens to and follows the guidance of its pride leader, we learn the importance of listening, following instructions, and making positive choices.
Obedience is not just about doing what we are told. It is about showing respect, building trust, and developing self-discipline. When we listen carefully and respond with willing hearts, we create a safe and happy environment where everyone can thrive.

🌟 When I Grow Up... 🌟✨
Our Group 4 children have had a wonderful time exploring the theme “When I Grow Up.”
To celebrate the end of this inspiring theme, our learners enjoyed a special Dress-Up Day, proudly arriving as future doctors, teachers, veterinarians, firefighters, chefs, police officers, astronauts and so much more! 🚒👩⚕️👨🍳👩🏫🚀

🎤 WOODHILL VOICES MAKING THEIR MARK! 🏆✨
We are incredibly proud of Erica Li and Phenyo Masoga, who participated in the ABC Public Speaking Championship this weekend, hosted by The Green Project right here at our beautiful Woodhill College! 💙
Competing in the Senior Category, our talented speakers delivered outstanding performances, with Erica taking first place 🥇 and Phenyo taking second place 🥈!
Both speakers have now advanced to the next stage of the competition, where they will have the exciting opportunity to compete for a chance to represent us internationally! 🌍🎤
The event was made even more special by a wonderful performance from fellow Grade 11 learner, Motheo, who entertained guests during the competition. 🎶✨
Well done, Erica and Phenyo! Your confidence, dedication and ability to command a stage have made the Woodhill community incredibly proud. We cannot wait to see where your voices take you next! 💙👏
🦕🔎 Dino Discovery in Group 3! 🔎🦕
Our Group 3 children became little paleontologists as they embarked on an exciting dinosaur bone excavation adventure! With great enthusiasm and curiosity, they carefully dug through the sand to discover hidden “dinosaur bones,” just like real fossil hunters.
The excitement on their faces as they made each discovery was priceless!
