This Nelson Mandela Day, our little ones discovered that even the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference.

As a school Rooted in Love, we believe that nurturing compassionate, empathetic children is just as important as the knowledge they gain each day. Through meaningful, hands-on experiences inspired by the spirit of Nelson Mandela Day, our little ones explored the values of kindness, generosity and giving back, discovering that every act of compassion has the power to brighten someone's day and strengthen a community.

The learning extended beyond our classrooms as we invited our wonderful Little Ashford families to support a local food drive. Our little ones proudly helped collect, sort and organise the generous donations, experiencing firsthand the joy of helping others and being part of something bigger than themselves.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible village for your generosity, kindness and unwavering support. Together, we are raising children who understand that compassion begins with small actions, and that by working together, we can create a brighter, more caring world for everyone.

Our little explorers took a delicious journey to Turkey! 🍪

Inspired by one of Turkey's most iconic sweet treats, our learners made Turkish Delight Biscuits while exploring a new culture through hands-on cooking. Along the way, they developed confidence, creativity and early culinary skills, proving that the best adventures are the ones you can taste!

Splish, splash - we're off to Thailand! 🐘

Our little explorers discovered how elephants use their amazing trunks to suck up water and spray themselves to stay cool. This fun, hands-on investigation encouraged sensory exploration, scientific thinking and fine motor development while learning about one of Thailand's most iconic animals.

Nature is one of our greatest teachers! 🌿🦋

Our little learners explored the fascinating life cycle of a butterfly, discovering how tiny caterpillar eggs transform into beautiful butterflies. Through hands-on learning and curious minds, they're developing a deeper appreciation for the wonders of nature, one stage at a time.

100 days of learning, laughter and growing together! 💚

Our little learners celebrated this special milestone in style, dressing up as wise 100-year-olds and reflecting on just how much they've grown over the past 100 days. Every smile, every discovery and every new achievement is a reminder that learning is a wonderful journey.

Wild World Workshop 🦒🦁

Our little explorers got creative by sculpting their favourite wild animals with clay, developing fine motor skills while learning about Kenya's incredible wildlife.

Our little artists explored the vibrant colours of an African sunset as they learned about Kenya. Through painting, they expressed their creativity while discovering the beauty of another part of our world.

Our Holiday Club is officially underway at Little Ashford Moreleta Park, and our little explorers are setting off on an unforgettable adventure across continents through play, creativity, discovery, and hands-on experiences.

From exciting international explorations to sensory adventures, art, stories, music, movement, and so much more, every day is designed to spark curiosity and create joyful holiday memories.

And just like that... Term 2 has come to an end! 💛

What an incredible term it has been. Our classrooms have been filled with contagious giggles, endless curiosity, meaningful friendships, and magical moments of discovery. Every day, our little explorers have amazed us as they reached new milestones, built confidence, and embraced every opportunity to learn through play.

We couldn't be prouder of each and every one of our little ones. Watching them grow, explore, and shine has been the greatest privilege.

To our wonderful families, thank you for being such an important part of our Little Ashford village. Your support, trust, and partnership make these special moments possible.
