This week at Building Blocks Academy, our little learners are exploring the wonderful world of animals and their babies!
Through stories, songs, creative activities, and hands-on learning, we will discover:
🐮 Cow → Calf
🐶 Dog → Puppy
🐱 Cat → Kitten
🐴 Horse → Foal
🐑 Sheep → Lamb
🐔 Chicken → Chick
Learning about animals helps children develop vocabulary, curiosity, and a love for nature while having lots of fun along the way!

A few weeks ago our theme was DOCTORS 🥼
Our little ones had a day in the life of a doctor & their favourite teddy was their patient for the day 🏥
Why is it important for children to learn about doctors?
*Children learn the importance of staying healthy.
* It helps children understand why doctor visits are necessary.
* Learning about doctors can reduce fear of hospitals and check-ups.
* Children learn healthy habits like washing hands, eating well, and exercising.
* It teaches children how doctors help sick and injured people.
* Children develop respect for helpers in the community.
* It encourages empathy and caring for others.
* Children become more confident about speaking about their health.
* It introduces children to careers in healthcare and science.
* Children learn that it is important to ask for help when they are hurt or sick.

“While He was blessing them, He left them and was taken up into heaven.” – Luke 24:51 ✨
on 14 May, our little ones celebrated Ascension Day with joy and wonder as we released biodegradable balloons into the sky 🎈☁️
As the balloons rose, we were reminded that Jesus ascended into heaven to prepare a place for us and that He is always with us, guiding and watching over His children.
It was a beautiful moment of faith, prayer, and gratitude shared together at our crèche. May our children always look up with hope, trust, and love for Jesus💛

Last week’s theme was At the Shop 🛒✨
Our little learners had so much fun exploring how shopping works as we created our very own mini shop in class! With fake money in hand, they practiced buying and selling, counting money, choosing items, and learning about everyday transactions. 💰🍎🛍️
Through play, the children developed early maths skills, communication, confidence, and an understanding of the world around them.
We are so proud of our clever shoppers! 🌟
This week at Building Blocks we are exploring the wonderful world of VEGETABLES! 🥕🥦🌽
Our little learners will be discovering different veggies through fun activities, art, tasting, and learning where healthy food comes from.
Learning while having fun is what we love most!
