My Fake Alert Experience

I'll never forget the day a sly customer tried to scam me out of a free meal. It was a busy afternoon and I had just received an order from a hungry customer. He ordered our signature dish, Beefy Jollof rice with peppered grilled fish.

As I was about to prepare his order, he sent me a bank alert, claiming he had made the payment. But something didn't add up. The alert looked suspiciously fake, and I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was being scammed.

I decided to investigate further and called my bank to verify the transaction. To my surprise, the bank confirmed that no payment had been made. I was shocked!

I calmly called the customer, explaining that I knew the alert was fake. He tried to deny it, but I had already seen through his scam. I politely told him that I wouldn't be preparing his order and that he needed to leave the premises.

As he left, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride knowing that I had outsmarted a scammer. It was a valuable lesson in staying vigilant and trusting my instincts.

From that day on, I made sure to verify every transaction, no matter how small. And as for the scammer? Let's just say he won't be getting a free meal from me anytime soon
