You’ve been invited for an interview. Now do your homework. 🔎

Researching the company isn't only about impressing the interviewer.

It helps you decide whether you want to work there too.

Before your interview, visit the company's website and social media pages and find out:

🔹 What does the business actually do?
🔹 What products or services do they offer?
🔹 Who are their customers?
🔹 What are their values?
🔹 What can you learn about their culture and the way they work?
🔹 What does the role you're interviewing for contribute to the business?

Then ask yourself two questions:

“Can I see myself working here?”

and

“What could I bring to this organisation?”

Remember, an interview works both ways. The employer is deciding whether you could be right for them — and you should be deciding whether they could be right for you.

Don't prepare just to get the job.

Prepare to make a good career decision.

“Do I want to work there?”

When you need a job, it can be tempting to apply for anything and accept the first opportunity that comes along.

But employment should work for both you and the employer.

Before applying or accepting an offer, think about:

🔹 Does this type of work suit me and my strengths?
🔹 Can I see myself contributing here?
🔹 Do the organisation’s values and way of working fit with mine?
🔹 Will this opportunity help me learn and grow?
🔹 Can I realistically see myself being happy and productive here?

Getting the job is not the finish line.

The goal is to find a place where you can contribute, grow and do good work — and where the employer benefits from having you there.

• At least 1 year of sales experience
• Valid Code B driver’s licence
• Own reliable vehicle
• Currently residing in George or Knysna
• Comfortable working for a basic salary plus commission

Previous sales experience within the courier, freight, transport or logistics industry will be highly relevant.
