🌟 Celebrating Mandela Day with Purpose! 🌟

On July 18th, we honored Mandela Day by empowering a group of matric students at a transformative Career Expo hosted by Momentum. The day was packed with impactful activities designed to equip these young leaders for their future:

βœ… Financial Education : Interactive budgeting sessions to build financial literacy.
βœ… C.V. Writing : Hands-on guidance on crafting professional CVs the right way.
βœ… Navigating Job Interviews**: Practical tips to ace interviews with confidence.

The energy was electric as learners engaged, asked questions, and connected with professionals! The career exhibition was a highlight, with stalls from Momentum showcasing diverse career paths and an inspiring stop at *We Think Code_, sparking interest in coding and tech.

The cherry on top? Students enjoyed a professional photoshoot and selected formal interview attire to boost their confidence for future opportunities. πŸ“ΈπŸ‘” Each learner left with a LinkedIn-ready headshot and a renewed sense of possibility.

Here’s to investing in our youth and building brighter futures together! πŸ’™

Kasi Chronicles Part 1:

"Sometimes knowing who you are not can be a lifesaver.
I still remember the day my late best friend was taken from me. We were celebrating his birthday when a group of robbers attacked his mother. In the chaos that followed, my friend lost his life.
In my grief and anger, a friend approached me with an offer of revenge. But something inside me said no. A voice reminded me that resorting to violence would change who I am and lead me down a dangerous path.
I didn't know who I was back then, but I knew who I was not. I was not a killer. Knowing my limits and staying true to myself helped me survive growing up in a tough neighborhood.
Let's remember that knowing who we are not can be just as powerful as knowing who we are. growth"
