UNISA Higher certificate in Law, Diploma in Law & LLB 2024/ 2025 EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION

Many UNISA 2nd-year law students say Constitutional Law (CSL2601) is hard to pass. They find it stressful.

The module is taught by Prof Lee Stone. She is very strict about answers and the sources you use in exams.

UNISA exams might look easy. You can copy and paste answers from AI or Google at home. But that doesn’t mean you will pass. Some students fail the same module 7 times.

Stay away from ChatGPT, private tutors, and other AI tools. UNISA uses Turnitin. It checks your answers and finds work copied from other places.

For Constitutional Law, this is not a research paper or dissertation. In the exam, only use:
- The prescribed textbook
- The Constitution
- Past exam papers and assignment memos

Do not use other study materials. If you do, you may get 0 marks and face disciplinary action.

Constitutional Law is part of daily life. The exam questions can be confusing and hard. The best way to prepare is to study past exam memos and Tutorial Letter 201. Always reference your answers.

AOD for Students who are owing the Institution.
Please note that Students who are owing the institution less than R10 000 will now be allowed to be registered through the AOD. This comes after robust engagements with the management about the issue of a number of students who approached us seeking intervention because they can't apply for AOD due to historical debts.
