Grade 8 Camp 🏕️

What a powerful beginning to the high school journey 🤩 Designed to build resilience, teamwork and school spirit, camp days were filled with challenges that called for problem-solving, communication and trust.

It was incredibly special to watch learners arrive as strangers and leave with new friendships, shared laughter and a growing sense of belonging 🤗 We saw real growth in so many of our learners, and both teachers and facilitators were deeply impressed by their positive attitudes throughout ⭐️

On the 1st of December, we gathered to honour the achievements of our High School learners — both in the classroom and on the sports field 📚⚽️

We celebrated those who achieved an academic average of 80% and more, and recognised each class’s Star of the Year — a learner chosen by their peers for truly living the vision and mission of our school ⭐️

A special congratulations goes to Cayrin-Mae, who received the Principal’s Award for embodying kindness, integrity, and genuine care for others 🤲

Our Consumer Studies learners have been embracing their inner bakers and budding entrepreneurs — and the results have been nothing short of delicious!🤤

Class 11 stepped into the world of artisanal patisserie, imagining their very own Patisserie Café in the heart of Pretoria. They crafted signature pastries and showcased their skills in the exam with beautifully folded chocolate and plain croissants. Their second scenario moved into savoury swirl breads, encouraging them to experiment with a more complex, savoury profile 🥐

Class 10 tackled the second scenario only, developing a signature muffin concept with unique flavour combinations. Each creation had to stand out as the perfect addition to a café menu — fresh, flavourful, and impossible to forget 🧁

We are incredibly proud of both classes for their imagination, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurial thinking. Pretoria’s future bakers and business owners are off to a brilliant start! 🌀✨

Guard of Honour for our Matric Class of 2025 🎓✨

On the 25th of November, our entire school gathered quietly outside the exam rooms to form a Guard of Honour — a surprise moment prepared with so much love for our matric class as they completed their final paper 📚

What followed was truly special: emotions ran high, smiles and tears flowed, and our matrics stepped out into a long line of cheering pupils and teachers who have walked this journey with them. It was a moment of recognition, celebration, and deep appreciation for everything they have poured into their final year 💜

We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2025 — for their hard work, resilience, and dedication throughout this milestone year. 🙌 As they await their results and begin dreaming about the year ahead, we send them off with our warmest wishes, cheering them on every step of the way 🤗

Last week we celebrated our four matrics — not just for what they’ve achieved this year, but for the incredible young people they’ve become throughout their school journey.

Each learner received a special award that captured who they are at heart — their kindness, courage, creativity, and spirit. We took time to honour each of them individually, reflecting on their growth and the joy they’ve brought to our school community.

As part of the Waldorf tradition, we revisited their story through the Rose Ceremonies — from their first rose when entering Class 1, to the one marking their transition into High School, and now, a third to celebrate the completion of their journey. Each received three roses: one for the past, one for the present, and one for the future still unfolding 🌹

As they step into the next chapter, we couldn’t be prouder. May they carry their three roses — and all they’ve learned — into a life filled with purpose, kindness, and beauty 🌿💫

Our matrics begin their final exams today! We wish them calm minds, steady hearts, and confidence in all they’ve prepared for. You’ve already made us so proud — now it’s time to show the world what you’re capable of. Good luck! 📚✨
