✨ Throwback to 28 March ✨
On Journée de la Francophonie, alongside the French Embassy in South Africa and the , we hosted the Épelle-Moi 2026 non-francophone senior finals 💥
👥 100+ participants
🏆 20 finalists from South Africa 🇿🇦 & Lesotho 🇱🇸
🎭 Tension, laughter, surprises… and so much JOY!
But beyond the competition, this day was about something bigger:
💬 Celebrating French as a language of plurality, connection, and possibility
Seeing learners engage with Francophone capitals, cities, and cultures reminds us that language learning comes alive when it’s shared, lived, and experienced together 🌍
💡 As we reflect, one question guides us:
👉 How can we better embrace multilingualism and reflect the full plurality of what “Francophonie” represents?
🚀 Next challenge: bringing in African Francophone languages like Wolof, Lingala and more, because our learners’ linguistic identities matter.
We’re wrapping up 2025/2026, but already dreaming ahead…
2026/2027 = bigger, bolder, more inclusive!
And yes, it is possible 💫
