In the second week of the first term, we covered the topic of electricity, where we designed and constructed functional circuits that operate in a circular motion and explored the principles of generating static electricity ⚡️, with a focus on the contributions of renowned scientist Thomas Edison. 💡

The first term came to a swift 🌪️end and the second term has begun. Here are a few moments from Term 1's first week, where chemical reactions🧪, oxidation, and densities 🧫were explored.
We're excited to kickoff 2026🧪🧫 with a fresh batch of demos at our schools. Our team has been busy engaging with students, and we're eager to welcome our new Scientist in the first week of February. Happy 2026!🧪🧫 We will be doing demos at various schools in Pretoria and Centurion from the 13th of January 🥼🥼🥼. Our exciting classes will start the first week of February. We're super excited to meet all our new little scientists in 2026. We hope all our Experi-Buddies from 2025 have a blessed year in Grade R, Grade 1, 2, and Grade 3.

Magnetism, magnetic fields and homopolar motors the kids absolutely were amazed at the beautiful patterns the iron filings made …when we put the different magnets under the clipboard they also had the opportunity to make their own magnetic fields

TERM 3!!! A quick look back at term 3…expanding our knowledge of our eyes!!! Investigating the convex and concave sides of a spoon, rapidly spinning an image of a bird and a cage, producing an illusion where the bird appeared to be in the cage… and recognising that our eyes are reliable

Week 3 of term 2 Neil Armstrong were our scientist of the week we spoke about all the planets we then went to visit the Red planet ( known as Mars) and then we went to the moon with our straw rockets 🚀
