Thuto Foundation is a registered Non-Profit Organisation with registration number 163-212
Thuto Foundation’s main objectives are:
*To mentor learners and help them succeed.
* To give extra lessons to school children from grade 6 to grade 12 in rural areas during school holidays and weekends
* Bring resources like PaperVideo that will help the learners to succeed in their studies.
*To build libra
ries; a place where kids can go to do their homework and meet with other kids, discuss school projects and assist each other with homework. A librarian will be there to facilitate this so that the kids can stay focused and also run the database of books that are being taken from the library and being returned.
*To have at least 1 computer in each library which kids can use to do research for school projects and also career information Run career guidance, university and bursary applications information at least once a year. This will help learners to make a better informed decision when choosing a career.
*Fund university applications and first year university registration fees for grade 12 learners, also assist them with securing accommodation, bursaries or NSFAS at university.
*Be the the "go to" organisation about anything education, bursaries and university related.
