🌸 What a beautiful Whimsical Adventure! 🌸

Yesterday we stepped into the world of Vincent van Gogh and painted our own versions of his beautiful Blossoming Almond Tree. 🎨🌿

But as always, it was about so much more than the painting…

It was a day of connection, laughter, relaxation, creativity and simply enjoying being present. 💕✨

Each person started with the same inspiration, but every painting became completely unique — filled with their own colours, little details and a touch of whimsy. 🦋🌸

There’s something magical about putting a group of women together with paint, beautiful materials, tea, a few surprises and permission to simply PLAY.

Thank you to everyone who joined me and brought your beautiful energy to the day. You made it special. 💗

I believe we can all give through the gifts we already have. ❤️

This year, I'm using my art to support a cause that is very close to my heart — children and young people, and the mother hearts creating safe spaces for children

I'm beginning a collaboration with Dynamic Women for Children, and I'm incredibly excited about what we're going to create together.

I'll be donating a mural, contributing through my art and workshops, and creating opportunities for others to be part of that giving too.

Because sometimes we don't need to ask:
"What can I afford to give?"

Perhaps the better question is:
"What do I already have in my hands that I can give?"

For me, that's art.
And this is just the beginning. 🌿

For 22 years, I’ve been asked to paint all sorts of things. 🎨

Portraits. Pets. Weddings. Families. Special places. Meaningful moments. Children rooms. And sometimes… ideas I’ve never painted before!

And that’s one of the beautiful things about commissions — every request has stretched my skills a little further and taught me something new.

But for me, the magic has never just been in what I’m painting.

It’s in who I’m painting it for.

I love holding the person, the story and the little details that make something special to them in my mind while I create.

This one was made for Wendy & Warren’s wedding day — a fingerprint tree, with little details woven into the design that are meaningful to them. 🌿

And then comes the really special part…

Their wedding guests will add their fingerprints to the branches, using four different shades of green, slowly filling the tree with the people who shared their day.

A piece of art that becomes a memory. 💚

Isn’t that just awesome?

And it reminded me once again: if you can imagine something meaningful, you can probably commission it.

It doesn’t have to be something I’ve painted before.

🌸 Lover of Flowers 🌸

Some paintings are created to be sold.
And some are created simply because you love flowers. 🌺

This mural, Lover of Flowers, was painted in my studio as a celebration of colour, beauty and the wild abundance of nature.

I wanted it to feel like stepping into a secret garden — where flowers can be oversized, colours can be unapologetic, and there is no need for everything to make perfect sense. Just joy, beauty and a little bit of magic.

Every flower became an expression of something I love about the creative process: play, freedom, imperfection and the courage to let colour lead the way.

This is the kind of art that makes my heart happy. 💗

Spring doesn’t promise that winter is over. 🌸

Sometimes the blossoms arrive with a cold front,
the sunshine hides behind clouds,
and the wind reminds us that change is rarely comfortable.

But still… spring comes. 🌼

Perhaps life is like that too.
A difficult day doesn’t mean you’re going backwards.
A setback doesn’t mean your growth has stopped.

Sometimes you are blooming and bracing yourself at the same time.

So welcome the sunshine.
Dance in the rain.
Put on a warm jersey when you need to.
And trust that the season is changing — even when you can’t quite feel it yet.

Keep blooming. Your spring is still unfolding. 🌷✨

Play...enjoy....it is Spring!

Still feeling the warmth of our beautiful Beyond the Boardroom — Calm & Create morning. 🌿💛

A morning of slowing down, breathing, moving, reflecting, creating and simply being — surrounded by wonderful women who were willing to press pause and invest a little time in themselves.

A huge thank you to Laetitia Velleman for bringing her wisdom, insight and beautiful energy to this experience. It was such a joy creating this space together. 🌸

And to every woman who joined us — thank you for making it what it was. 💛

There was something really special about seeing women arrive carrying the busyness of life… and leave a little lighter, calmer and more connected to themselves.

This is definitely not the last Calm & Create morning we'll be sharing. 😉
