Complimenting The Oak's age is the old English Oak tree that is claimed to be more than 100 years of age. Due to the deterioration of Oak trees in Potchefstroom, this Oak tree’s predecessors (like a family of Oak trees) had to be removed in 2014. At The Oak clients gain access to secure parking, a glass gazebo and a swimming pool with fresh towels. An outside-lounge area is also available for smokers/non-smokers and a lounge area indoors for non-smokers. Oak Lodge is situated near the North West University of Potchefstroom, the Conservatorium, School of Theology, Fanie du Toit sport facility, Gimnasium High School, renowned Bult Area, Astro hockey fields, Mooirivier Junction Shopping Centre and Potchefstroom dam area. It is easily accessible and located near these important venues.
