ACE Curriculum incorporates the auditory comprehension capacity benifits of frequent memorization by including a scripture verse in each one of its approx. 72 yearly PACEs (=learning modules) as well as a monthly passage of up to 8 verses.

Benifits are improved memory, increased vocabulary, better auditive comprehension, and most of all, greater awareness of God's will and deeper appreciation of His Word.

When it comes to memorizing the Word of God, we aren't just training our mind to focus: we are training it to focus on truth...we're learning God's vocabulary.

ACE teaches higher order thinking skills (also known as "Critical Thinking Skills").

According to the well-known Taxonomy of Benjamin Bloom, there are higher orders/levels of thinking and learning than just remembering facts.

It is imperative that these levels of thinking are stimulated by a child's learning material to ensure learning on all levels.

Proud of our Grade 5's!
During this quarter's FutureKids project, the Grade 5's learned to filter and sort records in a database using Microsoft Access! See the newsletter they edited below.

They received their instructions via email while in the computer learning center under the supervision of their facilitator. For skills integration, they edited a newsletter created in Microsoft Publisher by moving a graphic to the Master Page, enlarging it, and making it a watermark. Text that didn't fit in the left text box, was 'overflown' (new verb?) into the text box on the right.
