Kleuterklanke

Kleuterklanke is pre-instrumental music education presented in group format. In these classes, the child's musicality and inner hearing develops in a unique way. When children start with instrumental instruction at a very young age, we often find that incorrect technical habits form and many of the musical aspects are neglected since technical development and music literacy steals away all the att

ention. The aim of Kleuterklanke is for the child to reach as much musical development as possible even before starting with instrumental instruction. Kleuterklanke is based on the Colourstrings approach to music education. Colourstrings was developed by the Hungarian brothers, Géza en Csaba Szilvay and is mainly based on the research that was conducted by the Hungarian music educator, Zoltán Kodály. It also contains elements of the work done by music educators Carl Orff and Émile Jaques-Dalcroze. The approach is child centered and creates an environment where the young child learns in holistic and intuitive way. Die doelwit van Kleuterklanke is om soveel as moontlik musikale ontwikkeling te behaal nog voor die aanvang van instrumentale onderrig. Kleuterklanke is gebaseer op die Colourstrings-benadering tot musiekonderrig. Colourstrings is deur die Hongaarse broers, Géza en Csaba Szilvay ontwikkel en is grootliks gebaseer op die navorsing wat deur die Hongaarse musiekopvoeder, Zoltán Kodály, gedoen is en bevat ook elemente van die musiekopvoeders Carl Orff en Émile Jaques-Dalcroze se werk. Die benadering is leerder-gesentreerd en skep 'n omgewing waarin die jong kind op 'n intuïtiewe en holistiese manier leer.
