Today, on International Nurses Day, we celebrate two very special women, Gwendo and Lilian, who are far more than just nurses at E.S. le Grange School. You are comforters, protectors, listeners, healers, and safe places for so many of our learners and staff.
Every bandage you place, every tear you wipe away, every comforting word you speak, and every moment of patience and kindness you show, makes a difference far greater than words can express. In a world where many only see challenges, you see children with love, dignity, and endless potential.
Thank you for the long days, the emotional moments, the silent sacrifices, and the compassion you pour into our school every single day. Your hearts are woven into the story of E.S. le Grange, and our school is a softer, safer, and more loving place because of you.
Today, we honour not only what you do, but who you are.
May you always remember that the care you give so freely changes lives in ways you may never fully realise. Our learners may forget many things one day, but they will never forget how you made them feel, cared for, protected, and loved.
Happy International Nurses Day to our two incredible nurses. We appreciate you more than words could ever say.
From every child and staff member at E.S. le Grange.

Thank you for the care, patience, kindness and unconditional support you give our learners daily.
To every woman who nurtures, protects, teaches and loves, thank you for helping us raise and care for these precious children.
Happy Mother’s Day to each and every one of you. Julle word raakgesien, waardeer en diep bewonder.

We are excited and proud to be the first LSEN school in the province to implement the MOVEE programme.
This week our staff completed MOVEE training, focusing on functional movement, coordination and learning through movement, adapted to meet the diverse needs of our learners.
The programme supports development, participation and confidence, while strengthening the link between movement and learning.
We look forward to the positive impact MOVEE will have on our learners as we continue to grow, learn and move together.
