🌟 A Wonderful Learning Experience for Our Grade 12 Accounting Learners 🌟

A heartfelt thank you to Lockhart Incorporated, a local Accounting and Auditing firm, for inviting 20 of our Grade 12 Accounting learners who have an interest in pursuing a career in the field of Accounting.

Our learners had an incredible day gaining valuable insight into the working world of Accounting and Auditing, learning about the different career opportunities available and what they can expect as they take their first steps towards their future careers. We truly appreciate the time, knowledge and encouragement shared with our learners.

A very special congratulations to Asisipho Mjanyelwa from Grade 12E, who proudly represented Marsec and won the SAICA Quiz! 🏆🎉 What an amazing achievement!

Standing Together for Women

Today, Marsec’s Rotary Interact Club proudly took to the corridors with a meaningful march in support of women, women’s rights, equality and empowerment.

As we celebrate Women’s Month, we are reminded of the strength, courage and resilience of women everywhere. Our march was a small but powerful way of raising awareness and showing our support for a world where every woman and girl is respected, valued, heard and given equal opportunities.

Let us continue to stand together, speak up and make a difference.

💥 A Toppling Success: Building Memories & Community Spirit!

What started as a simple fundraising initiative turned into an incredible morning filled with teamwork, creativity, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Our Marsec Interact team stepped up to the challenge by raising sponsorships at R10 per domino. Each team received their allocated dominoes based on their chosen color sequence, designed their own unique patterns, assembled their crews, and eagerly awaited the much-anticipated Topple Day which took place on the 27th of June at our school hall.

This is where weeks of planning came to life. Each team carefully constructed their masterpieces before the exciting moment arrived—watching every domino fall in sequence. Some fell perfectly on the first try, while others just needed a gentle, extra nudge or two! The atmosphere was absolutely electric, filled with vibrant team spirit, mutual encouragement, and plenty of cheers.

Team Marsec has raised the highest sponsorship in the entire Rotary District 9370 earning an impressive, massive haul of almost 2,500 dominoes to build with!

An event of this scale takes a village, and we are overflowing with gratitude for everyone who made it possible:

Colin’s goal was beautifully simple: to have fun while fundraising. Today’s event proved beyond a doubt that fundraising can build lifelong friendships, inspire teamwork, and create lasting memories.

Marburg Secondary School is incredibly proud of Ethan Godden and Kerwin Subramoney, who proudly represented both our school and the UGU District at the KZN U17 Volleyball Selections held in Durban this past weekend.

The boys displayed outstanding talent, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the selection process, while gaining valuable experience that will undoubtedly benefit them in future volleyball opportunities and selections.

Being selected to represent the district is a remarkable achievement and a testament to their hard work and dedication to the sport.

Well done, Ethan and Kerwin!
