NMU International Law Students Association A group of students dedicated to the promotion of international law by providing students with opportunities to study, research and network at NMU

“The International Law Students Association is a non-profit association of students and lawyers who are dedicated to the promotion of international law. ILSA provides students with opportunities to study, research, and network in the international legal arena. The organization’s activities include academic conferences, publications, the global coordination of student organizations, and the administration of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.”

The NMMU Chapter falls under the ILSA umbrella body. Our focus is on developing a mooting culture at NMMU, focusing specifically on international law. Through ILSA students will have access to many exciting opportunities in the area of international law. It is our aim to develop essential skills to help all law students both in their degree and in their future legal careers. Community outreach is also very important to us, and we will therefore be involved in community outreach programs and invite students to get involved too. The NMMU ILSA Chapter is for all law students-so come and join today!
