๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’› Diaz Primary looking its best! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š

Over the past few years our school has received some wonderful upgrades โ€” a fresh coat of paint giving the buildings a facelift and our sports courts that have been beautifully redone.

A big thank you to our groundsmen, whose hard work keeps our grass fields green and well cared for. ๐ŸŒฑ

Diaz Primary teachers had a busy and productive weekend!

Several staff members attended a SAOU seminar focused on building stronger coaches. Mrs Kitching accompanied three of our athletes to Metro Athletics, and our Netball coaches completed umpiring training.

We are proud of our teamโ€™s continued commitment to growing their skills and supporting our learners. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

๐Ÿ›’๐ŸŒŸ DIAZ PRIMARY TROLLEY DASH 2025! ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ›’

What an incredible morning we had on Saturday, 6 December, bright and early at 6am, for our annual Trolley Dash! ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ›’

To every parent, supporter and community member who bought a ticket or filled in a form โ€” thank you! Your support helps us improve Diaz Primary for every learner who walks through our doors. โญ๐Ÿ“˜

A special shout-out to our principal, Mrs. van Zyl, and deputy principal, Mr. Steel, for attending so early and for their unwavering commitment to our school.

There were big smiles all around and memories made to last. ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ“ธ

๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ”น Hands-on Learning in Grade 5! ๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ“

Itโ€™s been a busy and exciting time for our Grade 5 learners! In Maths, they explored the concept of volume by using cubes to build 3D shapes โ€” discovering how volume works one block at a time. ๐Ÿงฑโœจ

In Natural Sciences, they got creative (and delicious!) by making jelly to see how liquids change into solids. ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿ”ฌ

Learning is always more fun when we can see, touch, and taste science and maths in action!

Congratulations to Asonge from Grade 6C who guessed the exact number of sweets in the jar โ€” 744! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ‘

Her sharp guess earned her the entire jar filled with sweets to enjoy and share (or maybe not ๐Ÿ˜‰).
