LANGUAGE BARRIER | The Rainbow Nation has 11 official languages. While it would be wonderful for every citizen to know them all, it's an awful lot for anyone to get their tongue around. As part of our Heritage Month celebrations, we decided to have some fun by asking our Madibaz athletes to guess the meaning of a word in a language other than their own. Lost in translation much?

LOADS OF MONEY, ANYONE? | If ever there was a win-win situation, it's got to be this one!

Mandela University is proudly hosting the Dafabet Warriors' clash against the Wenbro Impalas in the YesPlay Pro20 Cup on Tuesday - and you can watch it all for FREE.

But that's just the appetizer.

If you take a one-handed crowd catch at this mouthwatering fixture you can win a share of R2-MILLION (T & Cs apply). You read that right - TWO. MILLION. RAND!

See you at the game. It could change your life!

GREAT LENGTHS | Madibaz’s rowers may have endured a boatload of problems after this year’s floods but pulled together beautifully at last weekend’s Ussa Boat Race in Port Alfred to move up a whopping four spots from 2025.

Their leap from 10th to sixth overall was the highest climb among all participating universities.

It won’t get any easier against log-leaders UJ but the ladies will have free rein to play some enterprising netball.
