Watching a little yellow bird carefully building her nest became a moment of wonder for our three-year-olds. There were curious little minds observing nature, asking questions and discovering that learning is all around us.🕊️

Leading this team of women is one of the greatest privileges of my life story so far.
Women diverse in so many ways: different stories, personalities, strengths, cultures and perspectives. But somehow, beautifully, we are undeniably united by a shared vision: to give young children the very best beginning and grow their potential.
And the truth is, it doesn’t always look polished. We don’t always get it right. Some days are messy, exhausting and overwhelming. Behind the scenes filled with laughter, love and learning, there is hard work, stress, and long hours juggling the hats we wear in a day.
But these women show up.
We fix each other’s crowns.
We wipe the lipstick streaks.
We make coffee when someone’s hands are full.
We laugh until we cry, and feel safe enough to ugly cry when life feels heavy, and hold each other through the hard days.
Because excellence isn’t about perfection.
It’s about women who care deeply enough to keep growing, keep learning and keep showing up, for each other, for our Khula Kiddies and for the families that depend on our work. And, through it all we realise we keep growing OUR potential.
I couldn’t ask for a more fulfilling journey, or a more extraordinary family of women with whom to live this vision. To strive onwards and upwards everyday with humble hearts, and eyes firmly set on excellence in early education.
