A new challenge has been brought out and as a Congress Movement, we have accepted. That challenge was to safe guard our communities and the Metro. That is why we ask all SASCO members to go in numbers tomorrow to vote for the AFRICAN NATIONAL CONGRESS in our Local Government Elections which will be held tomorrow nationwide.

We are members of the community before we are registered students. So let's go and defend our communities/wards are be proud to vote for ANC.

Friends, comrades and family this week many of our friends were graduating and it wouldn't be fair if we kept quiet without saying Congratulations you have done it and we wish you all the best. Always remember that that your academic years started here with us at NMMU Missionvale Campus.

We'll meet up in the working class now.

Today we commemorate the events of June 16, 1976. Events that shaped the future of our country through the proactive struggle of the then Youth.

All I can say to my fellow Youth today is that be a proactive Youth, Lets be a Youth that is no longer focused and concerned about tweeter updates and Facebook status but a Youth that is more concerned about the future of our country and the legacy we leave for the following generation, lets be the Youth that cares for our mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters.

Lets be not only the Mandela generation, but also the Biko, Sobukwe, Hani, Mbeki, Tambo, Peterson generation.
