On competition day, take a couple of deep breaths and remind yourself, “I am completely prepared for this moment. My muscle memory knows exactly what to do. The adrenaline I feel right now is not fear; it is my body getting ready to create something beautiful. My only job today is to share my music and fill this room with sound. If a mistake happens, I will leave it behind instantly and keep moving forward. I am in control. I am ready."
