We love seeing our little ones get excited about the themes! And the last one was out of this world! 🌏🪐☀️🌚🚀👩‍🚀🔭

It’s amazing to see them grow and learn new skills each week! Whether it’s threading beads independently for the fist time, sharing with a friend, packing their own lunchbox away or climing on the jungle gym for the first time- every milestone matters! 💛🌱

Our founders, Clarette and Jeanine, will be speaking at the Paediatric Multidisciplinary Conference in Gqeberha this weekend.

The conference brings together 25 specialists over two days in Gqeberha — audiologists, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, optometrists, and more, all in one place.

Bring the whole family — there's a play area for the kids and food stalls on-site, so this isn't just a conference, it can be a day out too!

📅 22–23 August 2026, 08:30–16:30
📍 Idyllic Falls, Gqeberha
💳 R150/day if you register and pay online before 20 August — R200/day after that, or at the door

Last week Jacqueline provided Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) training for the wonderful teachers at The Coral Tree Playschool 🌸
Here is why equipping educators with AAC skills is non-negotiable: 🧩 It unlocks Learning. 🧠 It reduces frustration, meltdowns and anxiety. 🤝 It builds true inclusion and relationships. 🚀 It fosters Independence. AAC tools are only as powerful as the people trained to support them. Let’s invest in our teachers so they can empower our learners! 🌟

💛 Introducing Our Yellow Class 💛

We’re excited to introduce our newest class at Coral Tree!

Our Yellow Class has been created for children who are generally turning 4 or 5 years old and who are ready for a more formal learning environment while continuing to receive the individualised support that makes Coral Tree unique.

This class is ideal for children with lower support needs who thrive in smaller groups and benefit from:
✏️ A stronger focus on pre-academic skills
📖 Increased opportunities for independent learning
🤝 Continued support for social and emotional growth
🌟 Individualised teaching that builds confidence and independence

The Yellow Class allows us to better meet the diverse needs of our learners by providing an environment that matches each child’s developmental stage and learning profile.

At Coral Tree, there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach. Our classes are thoughtfully structured to ensure every child receives the right support, at the right time, in the right environment.

We can’t wait to see our Yellow Class learners continue to blossom!
